Nick Powell Chairman and Creative Director

Nick set up Ricochet in 1995 in London having previously worked freelance, including the role of Series Editor of Channel 4's Right to Reply. He has helped to develop a number of returning brands for the company including TV Dinners, Sex Tips For Girls, No Going Back, Selling Houses, Risking It All, Supernanny and Its Me or The Dog. In 2001 Nick moved from London and opened up Ricochet's head office in Brighton. In 2005 Ricochet had the largest turnover of any regional UK independent production company. Ricochet currently has production offices in London, Brighton and Los Angeles. Nick takes a leading role in creative development and oversees the company's overall strategy.

Nick Southgate Managing Director

Nick joined Ricochet in 1999 after 5 years at the BBC and a spell as a freelance documentary director and producer. Nick has executive produced projects for Ricochet including Who Rules the Roost? FightBox, Tetris: From Russia with Love, Living in the Sun and World's Toughest Tribes. Nick continues to oversee key projects, day-to-day manages the company and looks after the rights strategy.

Mark Rubens Deputy Creative Director

Mark joined Ricochet in August 2005 from Channel 4, where he was both a commissioning editor in the News and Current Affairs Department and a channel executive on Big Brother. At Channel 4 Mark commissioned and oversaw a range of programmes including the first series of Risking It All, Dispatches, 30 Minutes and many single documentaries. since joining ricochet mark has Executive Produced a range of series for the BBC and Channel 4 inc, Too Big To Walk, Extreme Dreams, Admission Impossible and Living In The Sun.

Sarah Stinchcombe Director of Production

Sarah has been at Ricochet for over seven years and in that time she has overseen the majority of Ricochet's programmes, including, No Going Back, Selling Houses and Risking it All. Sarah oversees Ricochet's UK output and looks after staffing and company Policy.

Charlotte Street Director of Commercial Affairs

Charlotte joined Ricochet in March 2001. Prior to this she was Head of Production at Soul Purpose and Dual Purpose Productions. She has looked after many projects for Ricochet including Fightbox, Who Rules the Roost? and Living in the Sun. Charlotte oversees Ricochet's London output and is responsible for distribution and the company's rights exploitation.

Nick Emmerson Executive Vice President Ricochet Television Inc, Los Angeles

Nick is currently running Ricochet's Los Angeles Office. In addition to running development, he is executive producing two network series for ABC, including Supernanny. In the UK Nick has also Executive Produced Selling Houses, No Going Back, Chaos at the Castle and Supernanny. Before his arrival at Ricochet in April 2001, Nick was at Princess Productions where he series produced Jail Break.

Senior Editorial Staff

Amanda Murphy Senior Executive Producer

After senior producing the first series of Big Brother, Amanda joined Ricochet in 2000 to series produce Sex Tips for Girls. She went on to executive produce More Sex Tips For Girls and a slate of C4 one offs and series including Housetrapped, Living In The Sun, No Going Back-Biarritz, Return to Chaos in the Castle, and Clutter Nutters for BBC Childrens. She was the founding series producer of Supernanny, and was executive producer of series two and co-exec of Supernanny USA. She is currently executive producer on a new 10 part series, working title Sex Lives on Trial for E4 and documentary series, My New Home for C4.

Billy Paulett Senior Executive Producer

Billy has been a key member of the Ricochet team since the company started. Billy was the founding Series Producer of No Going Back and as an Executive Producer he has looked after, The Big Idea for Sky, and is currently overseeing Bossman's Holiday for BBC2.
